Hi. I’m Simon.

I’m a copywriter and Creative Director for hire, freelance.

I’m based in London and have over three decades of experience writing for some of the world’s leading companies.

I’ve worked for businesses in just about every sector of industry.

From fast food to fashion. From banking to beauty.

I’m not a kid (although some of my most recent work has been targeted at – and been hugely successful with – 18 to 25-year-olds).

Some of the things I do: print ads, posters, website copy, social media posts, brand manifestos (manifesti?)

and brand purpose statements, TV, cinema and radio commercials, product naming, product concepts, brochures, catalogues, leaflets and sales copy.

I’ve even recently started writing pitches to help production companies sell new TV series to networks and broadcast platforms.

Agencies I’ve worked for include Saatchi’s, Leo Burnett, J.Walter Thompson, Mullen-Lowe, R/GA, atelier (in London and New York), BDDH, O&M, Lewis-Moberly Design and Select World (in Hamburg, Paris and Berlin).

I also work direct to clients and production companies – global or local, one-person or corporate – and, so I’ve been told, they find me easy to work with, quick and collaborative. But with a strong creative and strategic point of view of my own.

Most of all, I like to do good work with and for good, nice people.
